Destination Wedding at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa – Alejandrina + Marco
December 17, 2015
Gorgeous bride to-be Alejandrina contacted me a year ago for her Destination Wedding at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa. My middle name is “Alejandra” and my boyfriend’s name is “Marco”, so when I first read her inquiry I was sure this was destiny placing us on each other’s path! They both meet as teens and reconnected through Facebook (another thing in common – thanks, internet!) and they never let go again. Soon I knew she had a great vintage-chic vision for her wedding and I couldn’t wait to photograph every little detail.
Her wedding was everything a bride would like it to be:
“Choosing Riviera Maya as our wedding location was easy. Marco and I had traveled there on our first vacation together and fell in love with the beautiful scenery. The crystal clear blue water, the white sandy beaches, the terrain of the jungle and the culture seen throughout Playa del Carmen had us in awe the entire time. We knew immediately this was the perfect place for us to wed and we were absolutely blessed to find the most beautiful ‘capilla’ I had ever seen for our catholic ceremony.
Finding the perfect resort for our wedding was important. We wanted to choose a resort that was family friendly, had an amazing beach, pristine pools, great food and hospitality. After some research and reading tons of reviews we settled on Dreams Riviera Cancun. It was perfect. What finally helped me make the decision on this resort was the beautiful beach deck. Since the very moment I saw it, I couldn’t stop painting the picture in my head of having my wedding reception there under the night stars.
To capture what was the “Best Day Ever ” we had an amazing crew of photographers and videographers. I thank my husband everyday for choosing Monica Lopez as our photographer. She and her crew are very professional not to mention very artistic with the lens of a camera. The day of our wedding she and her crew were punctual and even though I had not met her in person until that very day it felt as if I had known her for a long time. After all, who doesn’t love a photographer that lets you twirl in your wedding dress!
If I could describe my wedding in one word it would be “magical”. My favorite part of my wedding was not only dancing the night away with my husband, friends, and family but it was also hearing all the laughs and seeing all the smiles that surrounded us that day. It was truly the wedding of my dreams. “
