We booked Monica as our photographer after an extensive amount of social media research. She originally caught my attention because she had many couples who have different skin tones and was able to accurately capture how both the bride and groom look, in a truly beautiful way. Her portfolio gave me confidence that my husband and I would both look like ourselves in the photos.
Let me tell you – she was even better than I could have ever expected. Our photos are AMAZING and every time I look through them, I feel like I’m transported back to those moments and can feel joyful and reminiscent about how amazing our day was.

Monica was one of the best parts of our experience. She works with the resort a lot so she knew exactly where the best spots would be, and we let her lead us as she is the expert. I am so happy we did. Looking back at the photos she captured every laugh, moment, and feeling. She was also such a calm and professional presence throughout a very busy day. I cannot recommend her enough. Her photography is truly art, we will cherish these photos forever. I cannot even choose a picture to call my favorite!

We found Monica on instagram before we even booked our wedding and KNEW immediately we had to have her. I think I messaged her within a day or so of her releasing her 2025 availability. And I am SO THANKFUL we had her to capture our day. Not only did our pictures come out beautifully, the experience we had with her was truly unforgettable. She made sure we had fun start to finish, while still making sure we got the pictures we needed. Something I’ll always be thankful for was her reminding us to go enjoy the party, and stop worrying about getting every single picture. Yet still, they didn’t miss a single moment. We look at the pictures almost every day still and are still just as shocked at how incredible they are, as we were the first time.

After coming across Monica’s socials we knew immediately her work was exactly what we wanted. We reached out to Monica and she quickly got back to us to set up a video call. After our first call we signed off, looked at each other with the biggest smiles and agreed that we would be planning our wedding around working with her – her energy was contagious and we knew we wanted that to be a part of our wedding day! From the initial call, all the way through the wedding day, Monica was professional, organized, detail oriented, playful, funny and SO easy to connect with. She was also incredibly compassionate when my husband ended up not feeling well and was so patient to ensure everything we wanted was still captured. She made the day feel effortless, and truly working with her felt like hanging out with a long lost friend.

Hiring Monica was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day! Her communication was amazing throughout the planning process, and she and her assistant were instrumental in ensuring we stayed on schedule during the wedding day (which would have felt stressful without her!). Most importantly, the photos are a dream! She directed us perfectly, made us feel confident, and quickly edited and delivered ~75 sneak peeks in about a week.
