Nicole and Eric had their Destination Wedding at Gran Caribe Real at the heart of the hotel zone. Wow, where to start about this wedding? I was asked to come over and make just a 1 hour portrait session with bride and groom and their wedding party after their ceremony. The time scheduled was at 2PM, where the sun is a its peak and during August, no less. I took with me a big bottle of water, lots of sunscreen and arrived on time to see the newlyweds walking out from the chapel. When I saw Nicole on her wedding gown and Eric on his stylish suit I wished so much they had booked me for the entire ceremony – I could swear they looked like taken out from a magazine!
This photo shoot has one of the craziest jumps I’ve ever photographed! That’s what you get when you shoot with such a fun and outgoing family like the Wallaces.
Jenny and Scott wanted to commemorate their Cancun vacation with some beach photos, and wow! The water was an especially beautiful color that day.
Gorgeous bride to-be Alejandrina contacted me a year ago for her Destination Wedding at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa. My middle name is “Alejandra” and my boyfriend’s name is “Marco”, so when I first read her inquiry I was sure this was destiny placing us on each other’s path! They both meet as teens and reconnected through Facebook (another thing in common – thanks, internet!) and they never let go again. Soon I knew she had a great vintage-chic vision for her wedding and I couldn’t wait to photograph every little detail.
Her wedding was everything a bride would like it to be:
The very best accessory for any family beach portraits: some unbelievably cute kids!
I met up with the fun-loving Gdowski family at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort, a beautiful and luxurious all inclusive resort located about 30 minutes south of Cancun by the town of Puerto Morelos. They have a lovely beach with lots of charming palapas, great for a family vacation photo shoot. I was concerned because the beach had a lot of sargasso right at the shoreline, but as you can see in the pictures, it added a pretty cool pop of color to our beach photos!
I’ve known Ismael since highscool. We met thanks to a trading card game (geek much?) during one of our free hours, we played a bit, chated, and after that we started to hang around. 11 years later, I call him one of my best friends. Today he is tying the knot with Viri, and I can only wish him the very best on this journey he’s about to start!
I am in love with this family’s beautiful and bold style! When I met up with the Tijerina family for some family beach portraits at JW Marriott, they were wearing the perfect outfits for their photo shoot. The touches of white added a serene feel that went perfectly with the beach setting, while the yellow and navy blue created a stunning pop of color to bring out the family’s fun and vibrant personality. When trying to pick an outfit for your upcoming photo shoot, keep in mind that bold colors can bring something really special to each picture.
Christina and Cyrus visited Mexico as a celebration for their 10th anniversary (congrats!) They wanted to commemorate this special ocasion with some lovely Cancun Vow Renewal Portraits at the beach. Christina told me that she is usually more of a jeans-and-a-t-shirt kind of girl and she almost never gets dolled up, but she looked so stunning standing by the Caribbean Sea in her simple white dress, and I absolutely loved Cyrus’ bowtie!
Today, meet Diana and Zach, a cute couple who contacted me for Romantic Beach Portraits at ME Cancun, this five diamond resort that is located on the stunning Cancun beach and a short distance from the most popular shopping malls, fancy restaurants, clubs and trendy nightspots. The beach here is gorgeous as well! View Gallery
