Three generations came together for this magical Westin Lagunamar Family Portraits in Cancun. The Cho family stayed at the Westin Lagunamar resort on their vacation, and mom Lily asked me to help them celebrate this gathering with some fun-filled beach portraits! It’s not often that I get the opportunity to photograph cousins, grandparents, parents with their grown children, etc. outside of a wedding setting, so I was very excited to work with the Cho’s.
Throughout the photo shoot, the strong bond between each and every family member was so easy to see, and I think that shines through in these portraits. As you can see, the grownups had a blast playing around in the sand with the kids, and the bright red lifeguard stand was a favorite set piece for some of the photos. What a wonderful contrast with the white sand! Everyone just had the best time being silly and letting their inner child loose on the beaches of Cancun. Of course since we’re at the beach, sunglasses were the accessory of the day. My favorite thing about these images is the expression on the kids’ faces. They’re filled with the joy and love that comes from being part of such a close-knit and fun family.
Thank you to the Cho’s for letting me capture these photos of your lovely family!
