Nicole and Eric had their Destination Wedding at Gran Caribe Real at the heart of the hotel zone. Wow, where to start about this wedding? I was asked to come over and make just a 1 hour portrait session with bride and groom and their wedding party after their ceremony. The time scheduled was at 2PM, where the sun is a its peak and during August, no less. I took with me a big bottle of water, lots of sunscreen and arrived on time to see the newlyweds walking out from the chapel. When I saw Nicole on her wedding gown and Eric on his stylish suit I wished so much they had booked me for the entire ceremony – I could swear they looked like taken out from a magazine!
Brides and groomsmen were AMAZING and they had the best vibes to make it work during this super hot summer evening (keeping beers and mojitos at hand’s reach, of course! – that’s what a destination wedding is all about, right? ;) )
Eric’s mom, who contacted me to book my services, wrote a sweet review at Wedding Wire:
“I found Monica online two months before my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding in Cancun. She continue to communicate with me all the way up until the wedding day putting my mind at ease that all would be fine. She showed up on time and worked really hard getting good pictures even though we had the heat to deal with. She took many pictures and ended up with more than she promised. Her quality was excellent and she made the photo shoot fun. I would highly recommend her.”
Thanks Katt, Nicole and Eric for being rockstars under the strong sun! Wishing you all the best, always!
