Christina and Cyrus visited Mexico as a celebration for their 10th anniversary (congrats!) They wanted to commemorate this special ocasion with some lovely Cancun Vow Renewal Portraits at the beach. Christina told me that she is usually more of a jeans-and-a-t-shirt kind of girl and she almost never gets dolled up, but she looked so stunning standing by the Caribbean Sea in her simple white dress, and I absolutely loved Cyrus’ bowtie!
One of my favorite Cancun photo shoot locations is Playa Delfines! This beach has become a favorite spot for Cancun locals like me, and I can see why. Located at the southern end of the Cancun Hotel Zone, Playa Delfines (which means “Dolphin Beach”) is one of the city’s largest beaches and provides the bluest water for an unbelievable photo backdrop.
They were a little nervous when we started, but they quickly relaxed as we had so much fun trying out some pictures by the ocean and in the beach’s lifeguard stand. The weather was absolutely perfect, and the wispy clouds made for some really gorgeous shots. We had such a fun day at Playa Delfines!
Once I sent them the final product, Christina e-mailed me back, saying,
“The pictures are AMAZING. I can’t believe how lucky we were to have found you. I love all of the pictures. ALL of them. Thank you for making us look great. The lighting is so perfect. I am sitting here at home in sweat pants and my glasses and can hardly believe the girl in the pictures is me.”
