It is a real treat shooting in the island, this time I was a Mia Reef Isla Mujeres Photographer to the Montgomery family, their whole energy was a perfect match to this Caribbean destination, which made for a very good time for all!
The vibe had the perfect balance between chill and electric, and I feel it totally shows in each shot, that speaks volumes about the family members personalities ‘cause we all had some fun as an end result! Sometimes it barely feels like work, which is great, since we have our feet in the sand most of the shoot.
Big bro – little bro dynamics were just too fun and cute, they are free to express themselves and their relationship and this was the adorable yet cool result! Kids being kids, something their parents are going to love looking back on someday too, something I always like to capture is real family dynamics
and the Mongomery’s had an amazing one.
While walking and playing around with different things along the pier, we had a visitor, the fifth honorary family member, a lovely pelican joined us in the shoot! an extra magic Caribbean touch to an already beautiful time.
Just as the sun was setting for the day, Mr & Mrs. Montgomery had their romantic shots taken next to the lightly crashing waves; happy, in the moment and visibly crazy for each other, you can’t help but smile when looking at them.
As a Mia Reef Isla Mujeres Photographer for the day with this sweet family with such a beautiful resort to use as a canvas, it makes the experience a piece of cake, there is beauty all around! And as always, I am very fortunate to be a part of people’s story, never taking it for granted!
