The very best accessory for any family beach portraits: some unbelievably cute kids!
I met up with the fun-loving Gdowski family at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort, a beautiful and luxurious all inclusive resort located about 30 minutes south of Cancun by the town of Puerto Morelos. They have a lovely beach with lots of charming palapas, great for a family vacation photo shoot. I was concerned because the beach had a lot of sargasso right at the shoreline, but as you can see in the pictures, it added a pretty cool pop of color to our beach photos!
The love that parents Carolyn and Chris have for their kids really shines through each image (and in person!), and son Blake and daughter Makayla are clearly a pair of amazing and happy kids. Makayla told me that Blake and I are destined to be great friends because we have three things in common: we both love video games, we both use glasses and we both have braces. Now that’s true friendship potential! ;)
This gazebo photo is one of my favorite pictures that I have ever taken. First of all the gazebo is just stunning, and the beautiful family and the reflections in the pool make it a very special shot.
