This one was a very special Cancun beach family portraits session. Jennifer had contact me to do a great photo shoot with her beloved family and I suggested Playa Delfines, an amazing location in the Hotel Zone. The sand was clean that day, but Jennifer’s older daughter didn’t want to get her feet full of sand. This was not my first rodeo with children, so I used that to my advantage, asking the parents to pull her up around playfully. Her daddy was more than Ok with carrying his princess and that made for good pictures too!
We walked along the beach, and then I realized the girls were wearing matching dresses. I forgot to ask Jennifer if she had done them herself or bought them. Seeing how much she loved them, I wouldn’t be surprised the had sew them! They were really cute! We eventually stopped and placed a towel on the sand so they could sit and I took this opportunity to capture the sisterly love this girl had. The sun was setting down (one of my favorite moments of the day) and we decided to leave the beach. The session was not over though! I kept taking some cool pictures and suggested we move to a grassy area not far from there to get a different backdrop. The family got together and smiled, allowing me to get this amazing panoramic with a wonderful sky. I’m very grateful I was allowed to share this magical moment with her family.
